One in five students ages 9-17 have experienced a mental health issue at some time. As well, there are large numbers who remain undiagnosed or who are diagnosed but left untreated. For these children and adolescents, mental health disorders can result in increased pain and suffering in their daily life and a decrease in school performance. Mental disorders can also limit their ability to achieve their potential in all areas.
